Hi, I’m Jaye-Jae. Born and raised in the small town of Whitby, North Yorkshire but I’m based in the beautiful county of Northumberland. I love travelling, exploring, and meeting new people.
I love capturing love - those perfectly imperfect and authentic moments between a couple. I believe that videos are a time capsule for memories that will last forever. I love to develop a deep connection with my couples in order to deliver the most personal and intentional films. I am very artistic, creative and love playing with natural light. I know my work isn’t for everyone and that’s absolutely fine - we’ll have a zoom call before you book to make sure we’re a good fit.
I’m a true empath and deeply sensitive. I believe that this is the secret recipe to my filmmaking. I won’t stop until I think your film perfectly encapsulates your day for what it is, whilst adding some artistic and cinematic flair to make you want to watch it over and over again for years to come.
I honestly think a big reason of why I got into filmmaking was the fact my mum used to make home videos growing up. I watch those videos back now and they truly transport me back to my childhood. Being able to watch and hear my 3 year old conversations with my late nan, hear her laugh, see her expressions, gives me so much more joy than pictures alone.

I’m an introvert who is also a chatter box and loves meeting new people
I love the outdoors and nature and spend most of my free time hiking, camping, wild swimming and mountaineering
I love all animals except for spiders
I volunteer as a marine mammal medic, and also for my local dog rescue shelter
I have a dog called Rue - she is my literal child and I adore her
I lived in London for 3 years but always knew I was a country gal at heart
My full, legal name is Jaye-Jae, but I go by Jaye for short
I’m a huuuuge foodie and there’s not many foods that I dislike - the bigger the portion the better
I love film/cinema and have about 20 favourite films
I’m getting married this year in Italy!
